Asus M51 is a traditional form factor of 15 - inch notebook with glossy cover of the display and palmrest area. The overall design is a combination of chassis smooth, rounded lines on the top and sharp angles to the bottom. In short, M51 looks fine, but design is not going to turn any heads.
Build quality M51 is a little mixed bag. Glossy surfaces shaped to look pleased, but we believe thin plastic and there is considerable flexibility on the chassis when pressure is applied. I am confident that the M51 will detain only a fine as a desktop replacement if he was sitting on your desk all day, but if you transport a laptop and from classes each day can be expected, plastics, to show some worn in a short time.
